Top Usenet deals in the US and EU (2026)
These providers have a promotion right now, in the US and in Europe. A low monthly price almost always means you pay for many months at once. A yearly plan can look cheapest per month and still be a large payment today. Euro and dollar prices for the same brand do not always match, so compare the currency you will actually be charged.
Open the provider checkout before you pay. That total is the price that counts.
Prices we saw on 28 Sep 2026
- Newshosting and Easynews. Specials often work out near $1.99 a month when you pay for 15 months. The regular Newshosting page can still show about $12.95 a month.
- Eweka. The site offer is about €6.99 a month. Some other landing pages go lower.
- NewsDemon. The fall offer is $0.50 a month for three months, then $30 a year.
- UsenetServer and Tweaknews. On their normal yearly prices, about $7.95 and about €7.50, with no extra sale.
How to read a deal
- Real monthly cost. Divide what you pay today by the number of months. Compare that number, not the one in the ad.
- The price later. Offers of 12 or 24 months are common. Check what you pay when the sale ends.
- Extras. A VPN, a newsreader, or trial gigabytes can make an offer look bigger. They do not make downloads more reliable.
- Currency and tax. In Europe, check the euro price and whether VAT is included. In the US, paying yearly is often cheaper than paying every month.
United States or Europe
In the US, start with a Newshosting yearly offer. If some files still fail, add one extra provider on a different network. A second brand on the same network does not help. In Europe, look at Eweka first. Take a US offer only if you are comfortable with US takedown rules on that account.
A cheaper copy of a provider you already have will not finish more files. If a sale is pushing you toward a lookalike, read which providers share a network.
Before you pay
- Open the offer in a private window, so an old tracking cookie does not change the price.
- Write down the total, the currency, how long the plan lasts, and whether it renews on its own.
- If privacy matters, read providers chosen for privacy before you commit to a long plan.
- If you want a website you can search, instead of a separate download app, look at providers that are easier to start with.
The table below shows who is on sale. Pick the network first, then the price.

How to choose from the table
Each row is a provider on sale. Pick one main provider. A Newshosting sale is a strong start in the US. An Eweka sale is a strong start in Europe. A cheap block is an extra, for files your main provider does not have, even when the ad calls every plan unlimited.
Check the live price on the deals page and read the provider review before you pay for a long plan.

Frequently asked questions
Where should I look for a Usenet deal?
Use the table on this page. It lists providers with a promotion in the US and in Europe. Open the offer and check the total, how long the plan lasts, and the price after the sale ends.
Is a lifetime deal worth it?
Only if you expect to stay with that provider for years. Most people are better off with a discounted yearly plan, plus a small extra block for files the main provider misses.
Why is checkout more expensive than the ad?
The ad usually shows a monthly average for a plan you pay up front. Tax can be added at checkout, and the price after the first term is often higher. Divide what you pay today by the number of months.
Should I switch just because of a sale?
Switch if the new provider is a better fit for where you live, or if it finishes files your current one misses. Do not switch between two brands that use the same servers just to use a coupon.
When is a Black Friday Usenet deal worth it?
When you have already tried that provider and want to keep it. A crossed-out price is a weak reason to pick a brand you have never used.
Is a cheap unlimited plan a trap?
Not if you can see the renewal price and you know which network you are buying. Be careful of a low first price that jumps later, and of several brand names that all use the same servers.
Are Christmas and intro offers safe?
Yes, if you read how long the offer lasts, what you pay when it renews, and how to cancel. Compare the real monthly cost, not the first month on its own.
