Editorial team
Meet the team that maps backbones, checks provider prices and writes the 4usenet reviews, and find out how to send the editors a correction.
The 4usenet editorial team researches and writes every review, comparison, guide and price check on the site. Pages carry the team's name rather than a single author. Each one shows when it was last updated, and pages with prices also show when those prices were checked.
What the team does
- Backbone research: working out which backbone family each brand runs on, and keeping the backbone dataset and its changelog up to date.
- Price checks: running our price checker against each provider's own pricing page, then confirming by hand anything it flags. The most recent check was on 26 Oct 2026.
- Reviews and guides: writing and updating the provider reviews, head-to-head comparisons and setup guides, following our published method.
- Corrections: fixing the errors readers report and logging every backbone change.
Independence
What goes on a page is the team's call. Affiliate commission and sponsored slots are handled separately and always labeled, and how we make money lists what they do not change.
